A Try Dive Experience is an introduction to scuba diving. 

Participation will provide you with the basic knowledge and practical skills to ensure you are comfortable and safe whilst experiencing scuba diving for the first time. 

In confined water to allow you to build your confidence to begin, your Scuba Obsession Professional will instruct you on how to use your scuba kit. 

They will continue on with hand signals for underwater recognition and teach you some basic practical skills required for diving. 

This dive experience is a great first step for someone who is thinking of pursuing a open water dive certification but may want to try it before committing to a longer course.

It also makes a generous gift idea for someone who is keen to try something a little different.

Try Dive Experience -  $ 245

Duration of session includes paperwork completion, gear selection and cleaning, site and safety briefs, pool entry costs and tuition.

Full gear hire and cylinders included. 

• Be able to see if you like scuba diving
• Take your first breaths underwater
• Decide if you want to be a certified diver 
• Use scuba equipment
• Knowledge of hand signs to communicate
• Perform basic scuba skills

All quality hire equipment is included in the course cost. Includes mask, snorkel, fins, boots, wetsuit, weights and Buoyancy Compensation Devices with breathing regulators.  

Loss, nil return or purposeful damage of equipment will result in student liability for the costs.

• Minimum 10 years of age with parent/ guardian consent
• Be fit to dive 
• Answer NO to all the questions on the RSTC Medical or deemed to be fit to dive by a Doctor 
• Be water confident (Skills may be assessed prior to dive)
