Learning to dive should be an enjoyable, rewarding, and confidence‑building experience.

My diving career began in an unexpected way—after many early mornings spent unsuccessfully trying to catch crayfish from our boat. Eventually, the empty pots and tired arms convinced me to try something different, and that decision led me to the world of scuba diving.

Since then, I’ve dived extensively throughout Perth and internationally, and the underwater environment continues to inspire me. No matter how many dives I complete, the beauty beneath the surface never loses its impact.

This passion for the ocean, combined with a commitment to high‑quality training, motivated me to progress through my professional development and become a Master Scuba Diver Trainer. I take pride in delivering structured, safety‑focused instruction that empowers every student to build strong skills, develop confidence, and continue their diving journey with enthusiasm.

Who would have thought a person who was scared of fish, and couldn't snorkel would become a Scuba Instructor? 

Yes that was me!

It just goes to show how Scuba Diving can change your life. 

Knowing the fears, and anxiety that learning to dive can cause, places me in good stead to be extra patient and empathetic when needed. 

I want to be able to instruct people and give them the confidence to take on a sea change. 

The idea of teaching someone to do something they never thought possible is what drives me to instruct.
