Learning to dive should be a fun experience.

My diving career started after many poor attempts to catch crayfish from our boat . Early mornings, aching arms, and pulling up empty pots soon got the better of me and I started my journey to learn how-to dive. 

Having dived extensively in Perth and Internationally , I am still always amazed at the beauty underwater.

Being able to enable others to share in that is why I chose to continue my diving career and become a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer.

I am passionate about what I do and making sure that every student I instruct walks away with confidence and a will to continue to dive.

Who would have thought a person who was scared of fish, and couldn't snorkel would become a Scuba Instructor? 

Yes that was me!

It just goes to show how Scuba Diving can change your life. 

Knowing the fears, and anxiety that learning to dive can cause, places me in good stead to be extra patient and empathetic when needed. 

I want to be able to instruct people and give them the confidence to take on a sea change. 

The idea of teaching someone to do something they never thought possible is what drives me to instruct.

My passion for diving started in nineties diving the wrecks around Sydney, NSW. 

I enjoy the history of underwater wrecks along with the technical aspects of the deep dives, which has led to my further development as a diver to ultimately a Master Scuba Diver Trainer.

I love being a Instructor, as I get to see the amazement on a new diver's face after completing their PADI Open Water Course. It's such a buzz to see the progression from pool through to the more advanced PADI certifications. 

You can see me out most weekends, and weekdays diving around some great local Perth dive sites, whether it be The Coombe Blackwall Reach or Rockingham Wreck Trail.
