Seal Team and Aqua Missions 1-2
The PADI Seal Team is for scuba divers who are looking for action-packed fun in a confined water environment (pool) by completing exciting Aqua Missions.
Pending each individual participant's needs the Aqua Missions 1-2 can be completed over one or several sessions. The participant will learn basic scuba dive skills such as how to equalise, and how to communicate underwater using hand signals.
Missions 1-2 are completed in water up to 2 metres depth.
Parental approval is required, for under 18, and minimum age for participants is 10 years old. A medical form will be sent for review and agreement prior to commencement with any participant. In some cases a Doctors approval may be required.
Our initial session is always done with two PADI professionals to assess the skill level of each participant, and any adaptive techniques or practices we may require.
Once an initial review session is done with a participant, we will discuss the supervisory ratio with the student diver/ carer/ parent for any sessions moving forward.
Aqua missions 1-2 session cost $300 and includes the below:
Aqua Mission 1-2 itinerary
Discussion -How we can care for our waterways as divers
Pre dive and safety brief
Equipment set up and building on dive knowledge
Shallow (confined water- pool)
Mission 1-2 skills tuition
Scuba Dive exploration (Pool area)
Debrief
Based on a 2 hour session with approx water time of 50 mins.
Includes set up and debrief.
Who are Scuba Addiction?
Chris and Lisa are a strong husband and wife team that progressed up through the PADI ranks to Master Scuba Diver Trainer (Lisa) and PADI Staff Instructor (Chris).
At Scuba Addiction we love everything to do with scuba diving above and below the water.
Our passion is to instruct and share with as many as we can the beauty of the underwater world as safely as possible.
We encourage our customers to join us in actively engaging and becoming involved with the local dive community.
Lisa and Chris both have lived experience dealing with Autism, ADHD, Oppositional Defiance disorder, and sensory processing.
Lisa (Main instructor for the inclusion programs) is very patient, understanding, caring and above all passionate about ensuring that as many people as possible get to share the love of the water, whether that be in a pool, in the ocean, snorkelling or scuba diving.
We can cater programs within the PADI structure to the student divers’ needs/ abilities.

All Scuba Addiction instructors have appropriate insurance
Scuba Addiction is not currently registered as a NDIS provider.
We can provide full invoice with all business details for participants.
Participants and carers would be required to make their own way to the pool location to meet the Instructor. Pool location most likely Bayswater or Melville area, however may be subject to change if bookings are not available.
Bookings must be made for sessions. 50% deposit to be paid at time of booking (Bank transfer or credit card available) with balance to be paid 48 hours prior to the course commencement.
Scuba Addiction will work with you for rescheduling where required, however cancellation less than 48 hours before will lose the 50% deposit unless a medical certificate is supplied. Case by case basis considered at Scuba Addiction discretion.
