Participation in a PADI DSD will provide you with the basic knowledge and practical skills to ensure you are comfortable and safe whilst experiencing scuba diving for the first time. 

In shallow water to allow you to build your confidence to begin, your PADI Professional will instruct you on how to use your scuba kit. 

They will continue on with hand signals for underwater recognition and teach you some basic practical skills required for diving. 

When deemed ready, with your Instructor by your side you will move on to explore the magic of the underwater world with your dive/s.

The Discover scuba dive experience is a great first step for someone who is thinking of pursuing a scuba diver or Open water diver certification but may want to try it before committing to a longer course.

It also makes a generous gift idea for someone who is keen to try something a little different.

Half Day DSD for $ 295.00 (1 Student-1 dive-4 hour session)

Maximum of 4 divers, with each extra participant costed at $129 each.

Full Day DSD for $395.00 (1 student-2 dives- 6 hour session)

Maximum of 4 divers, with each extra participant costed at $169 each.

Duration of session includes paperwork completion, gear selection and cleaning, site and safety briefs, all tuition and dives. 

Full gear hire and cylinders included.

All quality hire equipment is included in the course cost. Includes mask, snorkel, fins, boots, wetsuit, weights and Buoyancy Compensation Devices with breathing regulators.  

Loss, nil return or purposeful damage of equipment will result in student liability for the costs.

• Minimum 14 years of age with parent/ guardian consent
• Be fit to dive 
• Answer NO to all the questions on the RSTC Medical or deemed to be fit to dive by a Doctor 
• Be water confident (Skills may be assessed prior to dive)
